Choral Evensong
Begin your week with a time of reflection as you hear ancient texts of prayer and praise sung by the Christ Church Cathedral Choir and the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer Choir. Music will include the Magnificat and Nunc dimittis in G Major by C. V. Stanford, Ken Burton’s anthem “Rest,” and a new setting of the “Phos hilaron” by Stephan Casurella. The service will also be available via live stream at https://cincinnaticathedral.com/livestream/ and is preceded by an organ recital featuring Matthew Geerlings, music director at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Peter in Chains.
