Choral Arts Society New Member Auditions
The Choral Arts Society of Southeastern Wisconsin (CAS) invites adult singers to audition for its 2026-2027 season by appointment on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, from 6:30PM to 9:30PM at First Presbyterian Church, 716 College Avenue, Racine. If you would like to sing great music with friendly people, please contact David Eaton, CAS Audition Coordinator Team, at (262) 939-6930 to schedule an appointment.
Rehearsals are held at First Presbyterian Church on Tuesday evenings from 7:00PM to 9:30PM from late August through early May.
Auditions include warm-ups and vocalizing to determine voice range and timbre, a sight-reading exercise and/or literature reading, and one brief solo to be prepared in advance. Please provide a copy of your solo for the accompanist.
The Choral Arts Society is a volunteer community chorus of 60 singers. This season’s concert programs will include Honoring 250 Years of America on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at 7PM, Carols by Candlelight in collaboration with Music & More on Saturday, December 5, 2026 at 7PM, and An Afternoon on Broadway with Mia Pinero on Sunday, April 18, 2027 at 3PM.
