Chinese New Year at Palolo Chinese Home
Usher in the Year of the Wood Snake with Palolo Chinese Home! This special event invites the public to a day of cultural festivities, including an enchanting Chinese Lion Dance performance by the Gee Yung Martial Arts Dragon & Lion Dance Sports Association, firecrackers, entertainment, a bazaar and traditional calligraphy demonstrations. As part of the New Year’s Celebration, PCH will also introduce details about the HUD Grant Program, including eligibility, application steps, and home modification needs covered by the grant. Our guest speaker: Damian Sempio will provide valuable insights into the program and its benefits for seniors aiming to live more safely and comfortably at home.
For over a century, PCH has been a pillar of care and connection in Hawai‘i, providing compassionate support for kupuna. The event is free, with a carryout bento lunch available for $20 per person.
