Chess for Beginners - Grades K - 12
Want to learn how to play chess? Chess is a fun way to engage your mind, connect with family, and make new friends. Join us at the Riverside Public Library and learn from the President of Riverside Chess Club, Sean Hennessy, who is globally ranked in the top 1% of active players on Chess.com. This interactive one-time class is for pure beginners who don't yet know the rules, answering everything from "What is chess?" to "How do the pieces move?" At the end, kids will have a chance to play a game with each other on boards provided by the instructor.
For kids and teens grades K-12.
