Known for his vibrant empanadas and rebellious take on Latin American cuisine, Diego brings a lifetime of culinary exploration to a single night of flavor, storytelling, and community.
Raised just outside Buenos Aires in a vegetarian household, Diego’s path to the kitchen began with theater and led through the streets and kitchens of Latin America—Bolivia, Ecuador, Brazil, Mexico—absorbing the region’s ingredients, techniques, and soul. From underground supper clubs in Buenos Aires to the award-winning Millennium in San Francisco, Diego’s food is rooted in tradition, elevated by curiosity, and always full of heart.
This one-night-only pop-up celebrates the bounty of California’s Central Coast through the lens of Latin America’s rich culinary heritage. Expect beautifully crafted small plates, lovingly made empanadas, and dishes that honor small-scale producers and indigenous flavors.
