Charged Particles with Tod Dickow
Charged Particles is the Bay Area’s favorite trio (piano, bass, drums). At the Lafayette Art & Wine Festival, they will be joined by guest saxophonist and San Francisco resident Tod Dickow. The group is celebrating their 33rd anniversary performing. Reviewers have said the band is “a tight and enormously talented trio.” (Jazz Times Magazine) that is “definitely dazzling” (Jazz and Blues Report) and plays “fresh, energized jazz that showcases the trio’s individual technical mastery.” (Jazz News Magazine) with “tight interplay, spark, and personal flair.” (Los Angeles Times). Downbeat Magazine called their performance at the famed club Birdland “something special: inventive, invigorating, mesmerizing, and virtuosic.”
