Champagne Band - June 13th Blackbeard Festival - Hampton
June 13-14, enjoy a pirate experience for free on the Downtown Hampton Waterfront. Explore Blackbeard’s Pirate Encampment in Mill Point Park with living-history interpreters teaching the skills of the sailor of the 1700s. Guests may even have the opportunity to learn how to use a cutlass, load a cannon, or sing a sea shanty. Sea Battle re-enactments, including “Blackbeard’s Last Battle” and “The Pirates Take Back of Hampton” will happen at 2 p.m. each day along the docks.
On Saturday night, join Blackbeard’s Block Party with The Champagne Band performing from 6-9 p.m. on the Bunch of Grapes Stage. Adult beverages will be available for purchase at the Block Party and during most festival hours. Make sure to stay around Saturday night for The Hampton Blackbeard Pirate Festival Fireworks Display over the Hampton River at 9:30 p.m.!
