Hand-Built Ceramic Animal Figurines with Guest Artist Ashley
Join us for a special hands-on clay workshop where creativity meets craftsmanship! In this unique class, guest instructor Ashley will guide you step-by-step through the art of hand-building ceramic animal figurines. Whether you choose to sculpt a whimsical woodland creature, a beloved pet, or an imaginative animal of your own design, Ashley will teach you the foundational techniques to bring your creation to life.
This beginner-friendly class focuses on hand-building methods—no pottery wheel required—making it perfect for anyone who wants to explore working with clay in a relaxed and supportive environment. Ashley will share tips for shaping, detailing, and adding personality to your animal figurine so each piece is truly one-of-a-kind.
At the end of the workshop, Ashley will carefully take all pieces back to her studio to be professionally fired in the kiln. Once firing is complete, the finished figurines will be returned to AR Workshop Hillsboro for pickup approximately two weeks after the class.

Cost: $60 per person
Includes all materials and instruction
Finished pieces will be kiln-fired and ready for pickup in about 2 weeks
