Acclaimed concert organist Dr. Amanda Mole presents an exciting recital of thrilling organ music from a wide variety of eras and locales. This one-of-a-kind program features a diverse selection of works by J. S. Bach and W. A. Mozart alongside newer selections by Calvin Hampton and Nico Muhly.
Dr. Mole's 75-minute recital showcases a musical mixture of introspection, elegance, and fire – a combination perfectly suited to the world-class Rosales organ. She’ll explore the organ’s full range of tonal colors as she performs Max Reger’s monumental chorale fantasy on the German Advent hymn "Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme," a true tour de force of musical architecture and emotional breadth.
Dr. Mole is quickly earning a reputation as one of the leading concert organists of her generation. Her performances have been described as “elegant, lucid” (The American Organist), and having an “excellent balance of technical accuracy, rhythm, and structure” (The Diapason). The first-prize winner of many competitions, including the prestigious International Musashino-Tokyo Competition, she is active worldwide as a performer and teacher.
