Homeschool Family Field Trip Day! Homeschoolers will have the opportunity to experience: • Pond dipping: dip a net into our educational ponds to see what springtime bugs and animals you discover! Use our magnified observation bins and identification books to see how many different species you can find! • Guided hike: participate in a 1.5 mile hike through the woods surrounding our Nature Center! Understand the importance of a vernal pond, learn all about salamanders, and visit our educational beehive. • Fun & Games: enjoy a variety of games to better understand the life of a salamander and the evolutionary adaptatio...     Join us at GCV&M on Wednesday, May 1, for our new Celebrate Spring! Homeschool Family Field Trip Day! We encourage families to bring bagged lunches and a picnic blanket to enjoy after the program! Please note: the majority of GCV&M will be closed on this day, so you will only have access to our Nature Center where the program is taking place.
