To show support for Israel and celebrate Jewish women, Chabad of Tiburon invites the community to attend the organization’s first-ever Jewish women’s garden party and luncheon in Tiburon on Sept. 15 at 1 p.m.
The event will feature Moria Azulay, a young Israeli woman who served in the Israel Defense Forces as a combat soldier and has devoted herself to creating content for Jewish advocacy organizations since Oct. 7.
Moria will speak about life in Israel since Iran-backed Hamas’s siege 11 months ago, and will share how her faith, hope and optimism have helped her to cope with the tragedies of the war. The uplifting afternoon event will also include live musical performances in English, Hebrew and Yiddish, and there will be a raffle with door prizes. Attendees will be able to participate in creating a “Bloom for Israel” living plant mural.
Event address will be provided upon RSVP, which must be received by Sept. 13. For more information and to register, visit bit.ly/3MtDbTb
