Celebrate International Sabrage Day at The St. Regis San Francisco
The St. Regis Bar will celebrate International Sabrage Day with a special performance of The Art of Sabrage featuring a 3L Moët & Chandon bottle, also known as a Jeroboam. Guests are invited to savor a complimentary glass.
The Art of Sabrage is a St. Regis Evening Ritual, introduced in 1904 by St. Regis founder and hospitality visionary John Jacob Astor IV who gathered his guests every night for the joyful sabering of a bottle of champagne to celebrate the transition from day to night.
The St. Regis San Francisco’s daily Champagne À La Cart menu provides a unique and exquisite prelude to the St. Regis Evening Ritual. Available from 5-6 pm, the menu features caviar from Haute Caviar Company, a woman-owned brand that hand-selects the world’s finest caviar from caviar farms and wild roe harvesters around the globe.
