Catalinas Community Chorus Veterans Day Concert Nov.10, Resurrection Lutheran Church, Oro Valley
Catalinas Community Chorus invites you to our annual salute to America's veterans. Once again, we are honoring veterans in music, words, and ceremony. Since 2024 is the 80th anniversary of D-Day, we have a special video presentation honoring all who served and gave their lives that historic day. We also have two special veterans who will share their stories about being awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, our nation's highest award for heroism in the air, and the third-highest military decoration a member of the U.S. Military can earn. The Distinguished Flying Cross is awarded to United States Armed Forces members who show exceptional heroism when engaging in aerial flight. The Chorus will also present many of our annual favorites, plus a new musical segment of songs popular during World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. Of course, we will all be singing our musical "Salute to the Patriots". Don't miss this program as it will be a time of reflection, warmth and nostalgia. The concert will be held Sunday, November 10th at 3 p.m. at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 11575 N. 1st Ave., Oro Valley, Arizona. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door, children under 12 are free. There are no online sales.
