Feb. 11, 2025 for an engaging presentation by Acoma Gaither on Black Cowboys Unveiled. Ms. Gaither is an Emmy-winning public historian and serves as the Assistant Curator of Black History at History Colorado. Black cowboys have played a very important role in western history. At least one quarter of all cowboys were black in the late 1800s. The presentation is at 7pm at the Philip & Jerry Miller Library 100 S. Wilcox St. Castle Rock, CO 80104.
