Join CASS Contemporary for the opening evening of their new exhibit, GLEAM
GLEAM a new group exhibition exploring light, reflection and perception through the lens of contemporary painting. GLEAM features four acclaimed national and international artists: Alex Bacon, Drew Merritt, and Leon Keer. Using specialized techniques and materials, the artists on display in GLEAM highlight compositions that emphasize both light absorption and reflection. As a whole, the exhibition underscores how each piece shifts and changes depending on the viewer’s position and the surrounding light, making perception an interactive and evolving experience. As viewers move through the gallery, each painting responds differently — subtle details emerge, surfaces transform and new visual relationships are revealed at every glance and vantage point. Rather than presenting a fixed image, GLEAM invites viewers to engage with each painting as a dynamic encounter shaped by movement, light and perspective.
