The weekend of July 27-28, 2024 the Cat Fanciers’ Association (CFA) will be hosting Capital City Cats, a cat show, agility competition, and adoption event at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, Virginia.
Join us from 9:00AM – 4:00PM as hundreds of families across the Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC area come to see and celebrate some of the most beautiful cats in the world.
The show will feature 100+ cats across more than 30 cat breeds, including the Egyptian Mau, Persians, Maine Coons, Scottish Fold, Bengals, British Shorthair, and many more. Some of the more athletic cats in the bunch will take a turn in the agility ring where owners will lead their cat through a timed obstacle course — an entertaining and amusing sight you’ll never forget.
Capital City Cats is also an adoption event and will feature local cat rescues like the Humane Society of Loudoun County, the Feline Foundation of Greater Washington, and The Cats At Longstreet (TCAL) and their adoptable kitties.
This is a family-friendly event that will feature a stuffed animal contest for the kids and a dedicated education ring where spectators can learn all about cat shows and hear from vets about the latest in feline health. There will also be cat rescues and adoptable kitties present as well as world-class vendors selling cat carriers and furniture, clothing, unique cat toys, and cat-themed merchandise you can’t find anywhere else.
