Cancer Culture NYFW Post-Protest & Happy Hour
On September 12, 2026, Cancer Culture will gather at Central Park 7th Ave & W 59th St for a permitted Cancer Awareness Protest from 5–6 PM, bringing the community together during New York Fashion Week to raise awareness, amplify the voices of people impacted by cancer, and create visibility for the issues facing the cancer community.
Every day, 116 people die from metastatic breast cancer in the United States. Behind that number are people, families, and communities, which is why we’re taking our message to one of the most visible places in New York City during Fashion Week.
Following the protest, guests are invited to continue the evening at the Cancer Culture NYFW Post-Protest Happy Hour from 6–8 PM at the Legrande Lounge, 2nd floor. The happy hour brings together the Cancer Culture community for cocktails, conversation, and connection, offering a chance to unwind and connect after the protest.
We strongly encourage happy hour guests to join us for the Cancer Awareness Protest in Central Park 7th Ave & W 59th St at 5 PM before heading to the happy hour together. If you’re unable to attend the protest, you’re still welcome to join us for happy hour!
