Calling the Spirits - Researching The Rise of Spiritualism
During the 19th century, thousands and perhaps millions of Americans participated in the rise of Spiritualism - a movement based on the belief that the living could communicate directly with the deceased. The popularity of this movement stretched through the 1920s. This lecture presented by genealogist, author, and librarian Debra Dudek will highlight newspapers, records, and resources to help you connect with the supernatural side of your ancestry.
