Bus Trip to the National Shrine & Museum of St. Therese of the Child Jesus (Darien, Illinois)
Fr. Bart Stanowski of the Discalced Carmelite Fathers will lead a visit to the National Shrine & Museum of St. Therese of the Child Jesus (Darien, Illinois) on Saturday, November 4th.
The bus will depart at 9 am from the Carmelite Fathers Monastery parking lot, 1628 Ridge Road in Munster, Ind., and will return around 4 pm.
Featured will be guided tours of the museum, a short movie about the life of St. Therese, a coffee and donut break, browsing through the gift shop, Rosary Prayer and Holy Mass, Stations of the Cross, and the Divine Mercy Chaplet.
The museum is a rich treasury of relics and memorabilia of St. Thérèse of Lisieux ("The Little Flower"), a French-Catholic Discalced Carmelite nun whose 150th anniversary of her birth is being celebrated this year.
