We will harvest, clean, and prepare bamboo from the Blithewold Bamboo Grove, and everyone will construct their own arch to bring home. The arches will be a smaller version of the ones seen in the Blithewold Cutting Gardens. Participants may want to bring their own gloves to use when handling the bamboo. The workshop will be led by horticulturist Julia Callahan with assistance from the horticulture gardens crew. Please plan accordingly for transportation of arch. Registration is required.
