BRISTOL BRASS & WIND ENSEMBLE – “MUSIC IN MOTION PICTURES: AN AFTERNOON WITH THE POPS”
The Bristol Brass & Wind Ensemble invites you to celebrate “Music in Motion Pictures” on Sunday, June 1st, 2025 at 3pm. We will be performing at Prospect United Methodist Church, 99 Summer St, Bristol, CT and is FREE for all to enjoy.
The band has been getting ready for one last performance before their summer break. It’s time to join us for an afternoon of great movie theme songs. Musical selections from James Bond, Harry Potter, the Incredibles and An American in Paris will be included. This concert also brings with it a guest soloist Anna Wallace for Over the Rainbow and a guest violinist Richard Cruz for Shindler’s List.
The Bristol Brass & Wind Ensemble continues to bring music to the community at no cost to its patrons. The BBWE is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We are thrilled to have Samantha Dena return with her amazing candle creations just in time for the summer season. Samantha is the daughter of Greg Hahn, a longtime member of the BBWE. Samantha, a Bristol native, will be selling her hand panted candle creations at the concert to help the BBWE continue to provide FREE concerts to the community.
