When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a nearby volcano, Mount Humongous, is scheduled to erupt within 48 hours, their undersea world is plunged into chaos. Just as hope begins to sink, an unexpected hero rises to the surface. SpongeBob SquarePants, along with his friends Patrick Star and Sandy Cheeks, must team up to save their community from total annihilation.
