Breakaway Brewing 5K Fun Run | Texas Brewery Running Series
We are the Texas Brewery Running Series® and we run for beer!
Join us on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at 10:00 AM, for a 5K fun run that starts and ends at Breakaway Brewing in San Antonio’s Government Hill neighborhood!
Gather your friends and family and run, walk, or jog your way through a scenic 5K-ish course—then raise a glass at the finish line with a craft beer brewed just steps away. Whether you’re running, jogging, or walking, this event is open to all ages and fitness levels.
Event Details:
When: Saturday, September 26, 2026
Time: Fun run starts at 10:00 AM (Check-in from 9:15-9:55)
Where: Breakaway Brewing | San Antonio, TX
Course: A marked 5K-ish route that starts and ends at the brewery, weaving through Government Hill, Lower Broadway, and the Brackenridge Park trail. Course map + parking details will be emailed the week of the event.

A portion of proceeds from every event supports local nonprofits, helping make a positive impact in the community. Nationally, we have raised more than $725,000 to date! This run will support the San Antonio Food Bank, and we’re hosting a food drive. Bring non-perishable food items and earn a ticket for our Give Back Raffle for each item donated.
