Brady Fergusson, Climate Solutions Accelerator: Climate Action at the Community Level
Waiting for our national government to take meaningful action on climate change can be discouraging, but we can make meaningful progress in addressing climate change by acting at the community level! Our municipalities are the small but mighty building blocks of our region and state, and also of regional and statewide climate action.
Please join us on Zoom for this Bonus Forum with our informative guest speaker. Brady Fergusson was born and raised in the city of Rochester and is excited to be making a local impact on the international challenge that is climate change. He is especially motivated by his family and friends in the Republic of Kiribati, who are likely to be displaced from their islands in the Pacific Ocean by climate change impacts. To build the movement for climate justice, Brady also volunteers with Citizens' Climate Lobby and Returned Peace Corps Volunteers for Environmental Action.
