Bourbon & Bites: Virginia Spirits Month featuring A. Smith Bowman Distillery
September is Virginia Spirits Month so we are highlighting Virginia made bourbons and whiskey's this month. Come try some of the best whiskey Virginia has to offer. We will showcase the A. Smith Bowman Distillery, located in Fredericksburg, Virginia's oldest, largest and most award-winning distillery in VA. A. Smith Bowman Cask Strength Batch #4 was named Best Bourbon and Best American Whiskey at the 2025 International Whisky Competition, earning a score of 97.01, the second-highest overall in the entire competition and we will have a bottle to sample. We will also have a bottle of their recent lottery special release bottle - a 12 Year Bourbon Aged in Hungarian Oak. Other VA distilleries we will have samples from include Reservoir Distillery (Richmond), Copper Fox Distillery (Williamsburg), and VA Distillery Co (Lovingston). Chef Mary has cooked up some classic VA food bites to pair with these VA bourbons that you won't want to miss. So come join us in September and celebrate Virgina Spirits Month with us!
