Students will work from direct observation of flowers, leaves and more. Topics will include painting a bouquet of flowers expressively with strong composition and value, detailed renderings of a single flower in the classical tradition of botanical painting, and a focus on leaves, funghi and other botanical elements. Bring cut flowers from your garden or use the flowers provided. No experience necessary; all levels welcome. *August 30 is the arrival day for this session.
