The Boston Square Dance Collective - The Boston Square Dance Collective is a group of dancers, musicians, and callers committed to fostering community by organizing square dances in the Greater Boston area. Our events are fun and inclusive with walkthroughs of all dances and gender free calling. No experience or partners needed, just get ready to kick up some dust with a hoot and a holler!
The Talking Hearts are a high energy and cutting edge honky tonk country band from Boston. Channeling the spirit of musical icons Loretta Lynn, Hank Williams, and Buck Owens, the band plays witty and relatable original songs written by fiddler Rachel Rosenberg about folks who’ve done her wrong. The songs feature thick three-part harmony singing by Rachel, Sophie Wellington (guitar) and Zach Meyer (mandolin), with bassist Dan Bui and drummer Mike Harmon laying down a solid rhythmic groove. Bring your dancing shoes and get ready for a rollicking good time!
