Book Launch: From Bonham to Buddha and Back with Clementine Moss
Join Clementine Moss, the founder and drummer of Zepparella—San Francisco’s longtime, all-female Led Zeppelin tribute band—as she celebrates the release of her memoir “From Bonham to Buddha and Back: The Slow Enlightenment of the Hard Rock Drummer” (Feb. 22, 2023; ISBN 979-8-9869789-0-1) which offers her music career as a metaphor for modern spiritual practice.
What does it look like to follow a contemplative path of study and practice while also being very much in the world as a rock-and-roll drummer? When Clem discovers parallels between the gritty road life of a musician and the practice of a spiritual life, her insights are as valuable as they are entertaining. In "From Bonham to Buddha and Back", she illustrates the surprising parallels between these seemingly opposite experiences from which we can all find lessons in awakening.
In addition to being a professional drummer, Moss is also a solo singer and songwriter, freelance writer, nondenominational Minister, Vipassana meditator and a spiritual counselor with an active healing practice.
