Blue Ocean, Coral Grief, Wanda What
Oakland, CA duo Blue Ocean play with shoegaze & noise pop to make a sound that is somewhere between My Bloody Valentine's "You Made Me Realise" era and C86 jangle - but with repetitive motorik drumming. A swirling haze of sound glazes over dreamy pop songs, leaving a shimmering electric roar with a slight grin.
Coral Grief is a Seattle dream pop trio. Rich guitars, driving bass, and ethereal vocals meld together to create a textured, intricate sound that is experimental, playful, and catchy. Quickly solidifying themselves as one of the most exciting bands in the Pacific Northwest, Coral Grief has supported renowned artists like Indigo de Souza, Luna and Chastity Belt, and are touring outside of the PNW for the first time this spring.
Wanda What is the solo project of Harmony Reynolds (of Heavenly Bother). Based out of San Francisco, California, the project is a slight departure from Reynolds' previous work, creating a new sound with dynamic musical accompaniment along with moving lyrics and theme.
