Week 1: Block Printing on Fabric
Get started with the fundamentals of block printing as you design and carve your own reusable printing block. You’ll receive four fabric quarters to experiment with pattern and color, creating custom textiles that can be transformed into pillows, tote bags, handkerchiefs, or framed artwork. Learn how to transfer your design, use carving tools safely, and print by hand to achieve beautiful, professional-quality results.
All materials, including linoleum blocks, carving tools, ink, and fabric, are included in the class fee. Whether you're a beginner or an artist looking to explore a new medium, this course is a fun and creative way to dive into the world of printmaking!
