Blessing of the Animals Celebration - Saturday, October 5, 2024 - 706 W 113th Ave, Tampa, FL 33612
The Blessing of the Animals Celebration will begin at 11:30 AM, with blessings starting at Noon, inside the church. Each animal will receive a blessing and a St. Francis medal. The day’s features will include adoptions, a professional pet photographer, vendors, and a free picnic for all.
St. Clement’s Episcopal Church is a pet-friendly congregation. In addition to the annual Blessing of the Animals Celebration, it maintains a St. Francis Remembrance Garden and a Pet Food Bank, which offers monthly distributions to those who have difficulty getting food for their pets. All people are welcome to bring their pets to church on the third Sunday of every month for pet-friendly services. The mission of their People & Pets Ministry is keeping people and their pets together. The church is located at 706 W. 113th Avenue, Tampa.
