Bleecker Consort with Trio Tramontana: Medieval Sampler & 14th and 15th Century Music
Two early music groups join forces to perform an exotic variety of Medieval music and later pieces of the 14th and 15th century - at the delightful Shaker Meeting House in Albany NY. Performed on reproductions of early musical instruments, you will hear early winds (shawms, cornamuses, crumhorns, recorders, dulcian), strings (dulcimer, harp, hurdy-gurdy and more), percussion, and vocals.
