The 1st Black Ass Weekend happened in February of 2020 featuring the Core Cast of Jeezy's Juke Joint from Chicago right before the world shut down. Our partnering venues were: Piano Fight, The Stud, Jolene's SF, DNA Lounge. Coming out of the panty-demic, Moist - An All Black Erotic Cabaret at Oasis SF became my passion production and anchor show, for what often becomes a black ass weekend when I'm able to team up with other black event/show producers here in the bay. I'm thrilled to be bringing the big weekend back in just a few weeks time. Black Ass Weekend festivities include but not limited to cabaret shows, workshops & dance parties celebrating our varied and relative queer, black, nightlife cultures. I'm engaging with predominantly queer venues: Oasis SF, Flux Vertical Theatre in Berkeley, The Harvey Milk Center For The Arts, The Stud, Jolene's SF, Powerhouse SF and fellow black queer producers: Cheetah Biscotti of Nasti Drag, Sydni Deveraux & Seven Bailey of 2:31 Productions, Nicki Jizz of Reparations SF, Sgt Die Wies of Womanopoly SF and Mary Vice of Pillows Drag for a Black Ass Weekend Takeover to close out our 5 day celebration.
