The project is led by multidisciplinary artists Thandiwe Shiphrah and Daniel Arite and features performances by percussionist Carlos Duran, singer/songwriter Meg Gehman, bass player Ronald "Doc" Hayes, dancer Akosua KB Roberts, and actor John Wiggins. Birdsong & Focused Flight is a component of The Hear(th) Project, a fiscally sponsored project of the Arts and Business Council of Greater Nashville, a nonprofit organization.
