Bird Walk at Cumberland River Bicentennial Trail on May 2
Get outside and away from screens and other stressors. A bird walk on a beautiful greenway is a perfect place to be. The walk is for experienced or non-experienced birders. We provide binoculars for both youth and adult and assist in bird identification. The walks last approximately 2 hours. May 2 at 8:00 a.m. we meet at the parking lot at the Cumberland River Bicentennial Trail. This walk is on level paved trail that parallels the Cumberland River. A wide variety of species are found here. We can expect many different species which are migrating through, many returning summer residents as well as other birds that are attracted to the river area.
