Bill Scull art show at Gallery 9
“This show puts a sharp focus on wildlife in action rather than my usual subjects of people and their culture”, Scull says about the show. “While these subjects are very different, my process is the same. Photography is an exciting treasure hunt where I strive to be keenly present to what is happening around me and capture fleeting, exquisite moments as they unfold.”
This work includes images from safaris in Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia and the Galapagos. Scull wanted to capture these remarkable creatures being themselves in their herds or flocks or as solo operators: migrating, hunting, mating, nurturing their young, fighting for their position, and generally playing the survival game. Let the majesty of these remarkable creatures and their wilderness homes inspire you.
