The BIG semi-annual Book Sale at Rochambeau Library, 708 Hope Street Providence.
15,000 plus books in two rooms: Fiction, History, Biography, REligion, Sports,Mystery, Nature, Math, Classics, Childrens Cooking, Health, etc etc etc - all donated, in good- near new condtion, hard cover, soft cover, children's, coffee table priced at $2 hardcover and large soft cover; $1 for soft cover; 50cents for mass market p-backs and children's books. (no ex-library).
SPECIALs room has wide variety of higher priced books: antiquarian, first editions, rare finds, better books in Art, Architecture, science, nature and many more.
OPen to the Public Thursday Oct 31, 930-730; Friday Nov 1, 1-430 everything 1/2 price; Sat Nov 2, 930-4 PM bring a bag and fill it for $5; SPECIAL books are 1/2 price til 1 PM, then 3/4 off. No media at this sale.
Preview/Dealers hours are Wed Oct 30: 10-2;
Friends' Hours are Wed Oct 30: 4-730, you may join at the door.
