All proceeds go to support Helfand Farm Community Gardens (HFCG), an all-volunteer 501 (c) (3) nonprofit. HFCG serves gardeners from any town and annually donates over 4,000 lbs of produce from our Soup Kitchen Garden.
Vegetables include: Tomatoes (many varieties -- heirloom, hybrid, cherry, etc.), Lettuce Heads (Romaine, Red Bibb, Iceburg), Tomatillos, Husk Cherry, Okra, Red Beets, Beans (Green Bush, Pole), Kale (White Russian), Peppers (Red Bell and a few others), Eggplant (Italian Nada, Mini, Hansel, Gretel, Asian), Winter Squash (Kabocha, Butternut (mildew resistant), Delicata, Pumpkins), Onions (yellow and red), Scallions, Cucumbers (traditional/mildew resistant, Pickling), Yellow Squash and Zucchini
Herbs: Dill, Parsley, Basil, Thai Basil (limited), Cilantro, Tarragon
Flowers: Zinnia (Benary Giant, White, Orange, Deep Pink, Purple) Sunflowers (Various) Cosmos (Apricotta, Sensation Mix)
We choose specific varieties of the above vegetables, herbs and flowers, based on past experience and what does best in local growing conditions.
Grown by experienced Helfand gardeners, with love, care and organic practices (although we are not organic certified).
