Big Book Sale - Saturday, June 4, 9am-4pm, 1301 W. Badger Rd.
The sale will take place rain or shine (but we're hoping for sun!) All proceeds benefit Madison Public Libraries,
Sale items will be replenished throughout the day and there will be a bag sale from 3-4 PM for $5 per bag. Friends accept cash, check or credit card payment. Highlights include a generous donation from American Girl who donated thousands of brand new books for the sale.
Prices include:
- Hardbound books $2
- Paperback books $1
- Children's hardbound books $1
- Children's paperback and board books $.50
- CDs, DVDs and audiobooks on CD $1
To add to the shopping experience, Sabor Regio food cart will be on site from 9 AM to 1 PM selling coffee and churros in the morning and tacos and other treats for lunch. Extra parking will be available in the Coakley Relocation Systems parking lot adjacent to the Library Support Center.
Participating Friends groups include those for Central, Goodman South Madison, Hawthorne, Lakeview, Meadowridge, Monroe Street and Pinney libraries. Interested people can also learn more about becoming Friends members or volunteering at the sale.
