Fairleigh Dickenson University Professor Chris Rasmussen will speak on The Mode of Electing the President- Energy in the Executive: Creating the Presidency. His talk will address Alexander Hamilton’s reasoning for the separation of powers to prevent any one president from using his powers like a king and the challenges in maintaining these separations from then until now.
