Benefit for Students in African
Award winning soprano Quanda Johnson and pianist William Preston will perform in support of Madison-based International Partners For Education, Inc.'s effort to fund Malawian students' secondary education. IPE emphasizes educational opportunities for girls. To date, IPE has supported 178 students in secondary schools with many continuing on to earn college degrees in agriculture, nursing, education and other fields. A reception with refreshments follows.
