BELL TOWER INVITES THE COMMUNITY TO ‘CLIPS FOR CANCER’ FAMILY FUN DAY
In support of September’s Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Bell Tower, a landmark shopping, dining and entertainment destination centrally located in Fort Myers, Florida (www.belltowerfl.com), will host its second annual “Clips for Cancer” Family Fun Day, a head-shaving initiative benefitting Golisano Children’s Hospital and Barbara's Friends, the pediatric cancer fund at Golisano Children’s Hospital, on Saturday, September 21st, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Themed “Go Gold for Golisano” in recognition of the gold ribbon awareness symbol for childhood cancer, the event encourages the community to support childhood cancer awareness by sponsoring or donating to this important cause. Highlights include head shavings by childhood cancer survivors at 10 a.m. inside Dave & Buster’s, as well as family-friendly activities like a bounce house, face painting, balloon artists, live performances, vendors, games, visits from beloved princesses and admired superheroes, an appearance by stilt walker “Way Too Tall Torrie,” inflatable axe throwing from Chuck it Axes, and a VIP shopping passport for various Bell Tower retailers. Adam’s Animal Encounters will also host a mini zoo featuring live exotic animals and offering educational hands-on opportunities throughout the day. There will also be a touch-a-truck experience featuring big rigs, fire trucks, police vehicles, ambulances, boats, tractors and more. In addition, Beasley Media Group will be on site during the event for a live broadcast.
