BELL TOWER INVITES COMMUNITY TO KILTS & KILOMETERS RACE
Bell Tower, a landmark shopping, dining and entertainment destination centrally located in Fort Myers, Florida (https://www.belltowerfl.com), invites runners and spectators to take part in the Kilts & Kilometers 5K and 1 Mile race at McGregor’s Public House on Saturday, March 14. The festive event returns for its 2026 edition as Southwest Florida’s most spirited running celebration, encouraging participants to show off their Irish pride – especially those brave enough to run in a kilt. Awards will be given to top finishers in designated age groups and overall categories. Every 5K and 1 Mile finisher will receive a commemorative Irish pint glass, shamrock socks and a festive finisher’s medal, and runners can search the course for lucky Irish coins redeemable for a free beer at McGregor’s Public House (kids receive green Hawaiian punch). Lucky the Leprechaun will be on site for photos and meet-and-greets, and the celebration continues after the race with music, themed games, green treats and Irish fare as part of a full week of St. Patrick’s festivities at McGregor’s Public House.
