BELL TOWER BEER’D MILE AT MCGREGOR’S PUBLIC HOUSE
Bell Tower, a landmark shopping, dining and entertainment destination centrally located in Fort Myers, Florida (https://www.belltowerfl.com), invites the community to take part in the 2026 Beer’d Mile at McGregor’s Public House on Sunday, March 15th. Held the day after McGregor’s Kilts & Kilometers 5K, the all-new Beer’d Mile race celebrates two fabulous things: beer and beards. All participants must have a beard. No beard? No problem! Every runner will receive an official leprechaun hat with beard that must be worn throughout the event. Runners can participate solo or as part of a 2-person or 4-person relay team, with the classic format featuring four beers and four laps around a flat quarter-mile course near McGregor’s at Bell Tower. Following the race, guests are invited to take part in the Best Beard Competition, where creativity is encouraged: decorate it, braid it, spray it green, add shamrocks, beads, glitter, or lights – if it looks like it escaped a St. Paddy’s parade and found its way to Bell Tower, you’re in the running. All participants receive a limited-edition Beer’d Mile Challenge Coin, and medals will be awarded to the top solo male and female finishers, top relay teams and the top three Best Beards.
