In this 6-week introductory workshop, we'll explore elements of creative writing including voice, characterization, conflict, setting, plot, dialogue and more.
No writing experience necessary!
The sessions will be held at OSU-Tulsa and via Zoom from 7-9pm on the following Mondays: 1/22, 1/29, 2/5, 2/12, 2/19 and 2/26
Featuring Instructor: Gage Saylor
Gage Saylor serves as Guest Editor at Craft and The Masters Review, Associate Editor at Cimarron Review, and Marketing Director for Split/Lip Press.
His short story collection was recently named a finalist for the Iron Horse/TTU first book prize and the Hudson Prize at Black Lawrence Press. His fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction have appeared in Passages North, Tampa Review, Sonora Review, Nimrod, Crab Creek Review, Iron Horse, Southern Humanities Review, and elsewhere.
