Beginners classes focus on basic belly dance movements, posture and music for new dancers. Basic belly dance movement means movement on the body not dance steps. Lifts, drops, slides, circles, figure eights and undulations are introduced and drills for understanding. Travel and combinations are introduced. Everyone learns at their own pace.
