Begin your journey into Chinese Painting
Dr. Anping Liu, an active member of the New York Folklore Society and Overseas Chinese Artists Association, has exhibited widely, including at Albany Art Associates, Albany Center Gallery, and Stockade Outdoor Art Show. His 2021 exhibition at Albany Art Associates earned praise from the Times Union.
Program Details:
Beginning October 1, Dr. Liu will lead a 12-week course in Chinese brush painting. Students will learn essential skills with ink, paper, brush, and color, progressing toward completing the traditional subjects: bamboo, orchid, mountains, water, etc.
