Becker Farms Holds Trunk or Treat Family Event

Becker Farms, now in its 130th year, invites families to its Trunk or Treat Event being held in the Becker Farms parking lot on Sunday, October 27th from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM. A donation of $5.00 per person grants admission to the grounds, access to all kids' activities including the playground, mega slide, corn maze, petting zoo, train ride, ride-on page races, jungle gym with a kids-size rock wall, “trunk or treating,” and more, plus live music at the farm. All proceeds go back to the participating local companies. In partnership with Terry’s Corners Volunteer Fire Company, Gasport Chemical Hose Company Station #1, Hartland Volunteer Fire Company, Middleport Fire Department, and Tri-Town Ambulance Services, Inc., various trucks of all sizes and shapes will be on hand, decorated, and ready to give out Halloween treats. Contests will be held for Best Kids Costume, Best Adult Costume, and Best Trunk, with three winners for each category. Prizes of all levels include specialty items from Becker Farms and Vizcarra Vineyards, and the first place Best Trunk wins a free wine party for 20 guests. Celebrating 130 years since German immigrant, Julius Becker, acquired the original 100-acre farm in Gasport, NY, the now 340-acre farm offers the largest U-PICK apple orchard in WNY, pre-picked fruits, vegetables, grapes, a large children’s area with farm animals, a winery, a brew house, and two event spaces for weddings and other events. The original house now functions as a store selling hand-rolled donuts, homemade pies, cookies, and gifts. In addition to Becker Farms at Night Halloween festivities, fall fun on the farm activities include the Jumping Pillow, Country Market and Animal fun park, Garden Pavilion, Becker Mountain Mega Slide, Becker Brewing, Beer Garden, Vineyard Pavilion, Tasting Room, Farmhouse Market and Donuts.
