Bastille Day Celebration
This year, join us at our neighbor venue 7Social and step back in time to Les Années Folles with immersive visuals, specialty cocktails, and live jazz. Le Jazz Hot Quartet brings to the stage all the passion and sizzle of the French jazz style created by guitarist Jean "Django" Reinhardt of the world famous Hot Club de France, Paris circa 1920. Featuring band leader Paul Mehling (solo guitar, vocals), Isabelle Fontaine (rhythm guitar, vocals), Evan Price (violin), and Dexter William (bass).
Festive wear (tri-color, vintage Parisian, etc) is encouraged but not required - enter our costume contest for a chance to win a 1 year individual membership to Mechanics’ Institute ($150 value)!
Bastille Day is a part of Music at Mechanics', a live music series in Mechanics' Institute's historic downtown spaces.
