Waymar Gin House is taking over Maeve's Tavern! Join us Saturday, Oct. 4, from 1-3 p.m. for an afternoon all about gin. Waymar's mixologists created the unique cocktails you see below for this event. Guests (and our own bartenders!) will gain insight into the sips and will learn how to make all four cocktails at home.
Tickets are $60 pre-tax and gratuity, and include four craft cocktails served with four small plates.
FIRST COURSE:
Hibiscus Gin Sour – Waymar Gin House Vino de Naranja Cask Finished Fin, lemon juice, hibiscus syrup and fee foam
Cream of Roasted Chickpea Soup – fried chickpeas, goat cheese and cumin oil
SECOND COURSE:
The Tiger-Tini – Waymar Gin House Signature Dry Gin with lemon, infused with butterfly pea pod flowers
Tartare of Fresh and Smoked Salmon – green olives, shallots, chives, lemon zest, crème fraîche and soda bread
THIRD COURSE:
Edgar's Old Fashioned – Waymar Gin House Amontillado Sherry Cask Finished Gin, demerara syrup, orange and angostura bitters
Seared Chicken Thigh "A L'Orange" – potato purée and orange-sherry jus
FOURTH COURSE:
Corpse Reviver Blue – Waymar Gin House Signature Dry Gin, Lillet Blanc, lemon juice, blue curaçao and a spritz of absinthe
Citrus Pavlova – brown sugar macerated pineapple, lime zest and whipped cream
